Hi, I'm Benjamin
In 2021 I will be riding for AG2R La Mondiale Citroen U19 team.
I am currently 18 years old and live in Jonzac in the West of France with one of my team mates. I’ve loved riding bikes ever since I got off my stabilisers at the age of 3. I currently race at a high standard across many disciplines within cycling. These disciplines include Road, Track and occasionally MTB XC and cyclocross. I’m extremely dedicated to my career in cycling and most things in general.
2020 was supposed to be my first season racing as a junior however when the Pandemic hit all of my plans (like many others) went up in the air.
To take some positives out of the negative situation I took last year and used it to increase my personal growth and mental strength as this is something I have often neglected in the past and could give me the edge on my competitors in the future. 2020 left me hungry for success so this winter I put in the work to make 2021 my year and I couldnt be more happy with the improvements I have seen. Its looking really promising for me and I just hope that us juniors will get the chance to prove ourselves this season!!
After last seasons disappointment of only starting 7 races I am hoping to be at the start again racing the biggest UCI races alongside my team and supporters!
As we approach the start of the season I have my eyes set on the Cobbled Classics as this is where I feel I can really make the impact during the season !!

Before I get writing about "The Hell Of The North" I thought it would good to give a quick recap of my month of September as I know that I failed to upload this blog!
To be honest with you I entered this month proud of what I had achieved in September! I managed to come away with some half decent results despite constant setbacks in each race that I did! It was really frustrating......
